Creating and Teaching an Online Course

Are you building an online course? Below, you'll find guidance, reference materials, and job aids to help you with the process.

ODL-supported course development typically follows an initial administrative process that includes a letter of agreement (LOA). You can read more about the process on the Development Process page of the ODL website. ODL's instructional development faculty will work with you on the following:

  • instructional design and project management for online learning (including appropriate student activities and assessments)
  • processes for developing multimedia and other online course materials
  • FSU administrative procedures for approving and offering online courses
